“Limpopo Master” KCee And X3m Music Artiste Praiz Join Iyanya As MTN Brand Ambassadors

Not long after Iyanya became the first to put pen to paper as an ambassador for telecommunication brand MTN, Limpopo Master, KCee and MTN Project Fame product, Praiz have followed suit.

Iyanya and Praiz’s contract signings make the artistes the two official ambassadors to emerge from Project Fame.  A reality show solely sponsored by MTN.

The singer whose Etisalat deal earned him some notoriety for its controversy has ‘ported’ (like Hafiz “Saka” Oyetoro”) to MTN.

He shared the news with a picture on his Instagram page with the caption:

“Thank u Lord !!!! Done deal.... Signed and sealed... #mtnBrandAmbassador #mulaaaaaaaaaaa”



In the same feat, “Limpopo” crooner KCee whose recent single happen to be the toast of the clubs and events, also posted this picture below on his Instagram page:

PDP’s National Publicity Secretary Olisa Metuh Resigns

Chief Olisa Metuh, The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has resigned his appointment.

This is coming just a day after he went on television to deny the rumour that he has resigned.
 
Metuh’s resignation has been connected with President Goodluck Jonathan’s directive that officers whose election did not meet due process should resign their positions.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had noted that some national officers were occupying positions without due process as it warned that the proper process must be followed.
 
Announcing his resignation, Metuh said: “I want to inform you that I am resigning as the National Publicity Secretary with effect from Thursday, 20th June 2013.

“This resignation is in the overall interest of the party and is being done to put a final stop to the controversies generated by the INEC report on the mode of my election as National Publicity Secretary.

“I have served this party as a member of National Executive Committee for over 10 years and therefore my interest is to ensure that this party stabilises and progress. I have written and submitted my letter; I am resigning with effect from Thursday 20th June 2013.”

Metuh however stated that though he was resigning, the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, remains as chairman of the party.

His resignation which takes effect from today, Thursday, June 20, came ahead of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting  which holds today.

OB Fresh: Mafikizolo Featuring May D – Happiness

Award Winning South African Kwaito singers that made up the group Mafikizolo have teamed up with Nigerian May D on this new track – “Happiness,” from their 2013 album – “Reunited.”

Mafikizolo is made up of Theo Kgosinkwe and Nhlanhla Nciza.

The release of “Happiness” has followed closely behind Khona which was released some few weeks back and is massively gaining grounds all over Africa. “Happiness,” like the name of the song is a feel-good Kwaito mix for the dance floor.
