In a fascinating mix of Haute Couture and prêt-a-porter designs, Mozambican designer Taibo Bacar unleashes a new Autumn/Winter 2013 that is extremely feminine, dresses are beautiful and sexy, and the detailing on certain pieces are simply amazing. Taibo got inspired to create this collection after his visit to Rome.
According to the designer, “I wanted to create something unique that could reflect where I am from and where I have travelled to”. The collection includes bustier tops, elegant dresses, skirts, and he used their local African fabric “Capulana“, with cotton, silk, mesh and lace.
For a designer who never follows the trends and creates his own trend, Taibo Bacar is definitely one to watch out for with his exquisitely soft and stunning designs.
