Hennessy Artistry is an innovative musical platform, launched worldwide by Hennessy in 2006 to celebrate the vibrant multiculturalism of different genres. Hennessy Artistry combines contemporary, hip and inspirational music around the world, and has worked in collaboration with talented artistes like Kanye West, Pharell Williams, Ne-Yo, Leona Lewis, LL Cool J and Fabolous.

Through its commitment to the global "art of mixing", Hennessy artistry has since become a permanent and anticipated fixture in the urban music scenes of many countries around the world, from China to Malaysia, South Africa, Nigeria, the USA and more.

In 2009 Hennessy Artistry partnered with 5 top music producers, Cobhams, Jesse Jagz, Knighthouse, Dr. Frabz and Mr Daz, to put together a contest between 5 of Nigeria's fastest rising urban-music artistes. Ice Prince emerged as the contest winner, with Bez and Mo'Cheddah as runners-up.

In 2010 Hennessy Artistry created one track, a unique blend featuring a diverse group of artistes - Nneka, Ice Prince, M.I, Bez and Sir Shina Peters. The track "Like a Bottle" was produced by Kas, and a music video was released.

In 2011, El Dee, Banky W and the songstress Tiwa Savage, collaborated on a track produced by Jesse Jagz, titled "Toast to the Good Life". The 3 artistes headlined VIP nights in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, and released a music video.

This year Hennessy Artistry is being headlined by two of the most prominent hip hop artistes in Nigeria – M.I and Naeto C. For the first time in their careers, the two artistes collaborated as a duo on a track and video showcasing their interpretation of 'the art of blending'. The song they released is the popular “Bartender”.

The Hennessy Artistry Club Tour for this year officially kicked off on August 31, 2012 at Club DV8 in Lagos where Flowssick, Rayce, Ms Jaie and DJ Neptune thrilled fans.

Last week Friday September 7, the tour continued to Club Uno, on Allen Avenue, Lagos where Hennessy fans and prominent individuals within Nigeria’s entertainment industry like 2shotz, DIPP, Kayla of Cool FM, Jhybo, Jimmie of Beat FM and Uche Nwaezeapu partied with artists Rayce and Tunde Ednut as well as DJ Exclusive who rocked the party with nonstop club hits.

That weekend, the tour didn’t stop in Lagos, it went on the next day to the Rivers state capital; Port Harcourt, on Saturday September 8. That night at Ground Zero, Hennessy Artistry Club Tour acts Ms Jaie and Solid Star shut it down. The Hennessy consumers also got rewarded exciting gifts at the event.

The tour continues this week with Burna Boy and Flowssick performing at Likwid Lounge in Lagos this Friday, September 14, 2012. And from there Burna Boy alongside Rayce will also hit Mayfair Lounge in Calabar on Saturday, September 15, 2012.

The Hennessy Artistry Club Tour is going to run through 9 weekends and hit 22 clubs with rising artistes: 2face Idibia’s prolific protégé, Dammy Krane, “One in a million” crooner, Solid Star, wave making Flowssick, and fast-rising hit-makers Rayce, Burna Boy, Mo-Eazy, L.O.S, Ms Jaie and Tunde Ednut. So join Flowsick, Burna Boy and DJ Snatch tomorrow night at Likwid Lounge, 879, Samuel Manuwa Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
